Graduation Trips 101-103 #brenstravel
So I've finally graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Business Administration! This post will be on the graduation trips I've went with different groups of people in my life! Definitely enjoyed my trips and missing them now... Looking forward to my next trip hopefully soon :D
BKK 6D5N trip
15th March 2016 to 20th March 2016
My virgin trip to BKK and with this group of friends which I'm not say close with initially except for some but glad this trip brought us closer. Just to introduce they are Ben's group of close friends plus his brother and girlfriend :)) Really nice people to hang out with and glad for all the memories created ^^
So I've collated my snaps and segregated the events for each trip based on the days! Hope its see-able! Not that pro to collate and make it into a vlog so I guess this will do.. At least I can look back and see the main highlights for each day in the future!
BKK Day One - 15th March 2016 (Tuesday)
Flight was at 7.10am (jetstar)!
Yay to window seat and sitting with Ben and Nicole! Guessed we reached pretty early so split into 2 groups and cab to our hotel which was at Pratunam! Settled check-in procedure but we were too early thus left our luggage there and headed over to Platinum Mall which was walking distance from our hotel for some eating and shopping! Ended first day with a massage nearby our hotel as well ^^
BKK Day Two - 16th March 2016 (Wednesday)
Day 2's itenary was fishing! So the girls (me & Nicole) followed the guys to fishing! Booked a van and woke up super early so that our day will not be wasted! Basically slept throughout the ride to fishing spot as it was quite a distance away!
Breakfast and Lunch was settled at the fishing place itself! Breakfast and lunch was pretty satisfying! Nom Nom! Went back after fishing and washed up before we head out for dinner! Forget the place we had dinner already but it was some famous restaurant and authentic thai food! Dessert was red ruby and mango sticky rice! My favourite!!
Spend the whole day there and quite a few catch! Sadly I'm not in the luck to catch any by myself and thankfully boyfie got his very own catch so good job!!
BKK Day Three - 17th March 2016 (Thursday)
Some atas dinner at Capri @ Asiatique ! Decided to reward ourself to a good meal :P Then was nightlife @ ONYX!
BKK Day Four - 18th March 2016 (Friday)
Offload our goods before heading to the night market where shops are selling their goods in individual tents! Pretty much a good place to shop:) After all the shopping, decided to have some beer and chill at the nearby pub with good live band!
Headed back to hotel for a good rest for our last night in BKK:((
BKK Day Five - 19th March 2016 (Saturday)
Started our day with famous chicken rice where we ordered 1 whole chicken to share! Then headed over to the chatuchak weekend market for some shopping and of course trying the famous coconut icecream! But actually there's not much thing that interest me there plus the heat was quite unbearable so we left the market around noon and separate ways. The guys went to some fishing shop to stock up on their lures whereas Me, Ben, Dom and Nicole went to some mall (forget the name:P) for shopping! Had A&W for lunch and it was my first time trying as well!
After shopping for awhile headed back to our hotel as we plan to get our caricuture done! Boyfie suprise me with roses! Awwww thanks and love it so much! :))
So headed over to the streets along platinum mall to get our caricuture done before heading over Kao San for dinner and some drinking session for the last night! All went a little bit too high especially boyfie! So cute when he high! Do all the weird actions that make me wanna laugh:P
BKK Day Six - 19th March 2016 (Saturday) LAST DAY:(
Flight @ 9.20pm! Had a swop in seating arrangement just to sit beside boyfie! Thanks guys for giving way to me:P
For some reasons my hair looks brown here but yah seating partner for flight back and yay to window seat again!! Yahoo~~

Taiwan 6D5N trip
16th April 2016 to 21st April 2016
2nd grad trip that happen one day after my 20th birthday! Kinda excited and packed for that period of time coz no time for rest and focus on packing my luggage. Now it's over, kinda miss everything for happening so fast :((
Taiwan 6D5N trip with my poly friends! Classmates since year 1 and though this combination was not the usual, glad we have this opportunity to go overseas together which definitely brought us closer :)
#太湾derful Day 1 - 16th April 2016 (Saturday)
Flight @ 7am (jetstar)
Reached taiwan and off we went to buy tickets for bus to Taipei main station before collecting our train tickets to Hualien! Literally the whole day spent travelling that we were pretty shag of :P
So we finally reached Hualien after a few hours train ride and off we went to search for our hotel where we'll be staying for 2 nights!
Settled all the check-in procedure and offload our luggages before heading to the night market in Hualien! However, we didn't really enjoy coz there really wasn't much things to shop and buy there:(
Bought some snacks at the night market and one of this was this cheese, egg wrap thingy which was pretty nice! Sorry i forget what it is called >.< Dinner at the famous shop and it was super cheap! We ordered quite a number of stuff and calculated how much the dinner was for per pax. Guess what?!!! I think its around 1.50SGD/pax! Cheap, filling and nice^^ Ended our day early as we have to wake up early for the next day!
#太湾derful Day 2 - 17th April 2016 (Sunday)
Woke up pretty early as we booked transport to the famous Taruko National Park! We were literally seeing rocks, mountains, sea, repeat! But it's a good place to take photos etc and quite an adventurous and dangerous place! However, I think its a place that one would only go once coz there really is nothing much to see and explore!
It was raining quite a bit for the first few locations we were brought too! And throwback awhile, thankfully we met a nice taxi uncle the previous night that offered to be our driver for the day thus helping us save a few bucks from transport :))
Highlight of the day was conquering the torturing flight of stairs accompanied with the drizzle with my best 'hiking' partner! Literally died while climbing up the steep stairs that we kept on telling ourselves that we're reaching the top but actually we are not! Sharron, Candia and Jaslyn decided to give the hike a miss and head to the nearby temple first! So its just 2 of us fighting this war and happy to say we made it! To reward ourselves, we spam a number of photos but sorry for the live mode on my camera some photos didn't turn out to be nice >.<
Settled our lunch at the restaurant at the park itself and glad i make the right choice coz it was pretty good partly coz its spicyy! Continued with our tour along the park before heading to our last spot which was a beach!
Reached our last location and decided to get an icecream on this chill weather. The breeze and scenery was definitely worth the time and decided to head to the beach with Sharron while the rest chill at the bench.
Left Taruko National Park and since we're still early for dinner that day, we decided to Sing K! Not that cheap there and the songs there were limited! Perhaps coz we went to the wrong Kbox place but nonetheless, still enjoyed our time there!
Decided to pamper ourselves with a good meal since we've been eating really shitty food at Hualien! But this meal was definitely satisfying and we were so full after that!
Walked around streets of Hualien for some last time shopping since we'll be leaving Hualien the next morning and we separated ways. Team A - Jaslyn & Sharron (shopping) Team B - Liwen, Candia & Me (mission find icecream)
We've been aiming to eat the particular icecream which was so tempting and illustrated in the road map along the streets so we took some time walking to and fro before finally getting it! Hard work paid off!!
They ran out of the purple sweet potato so ours was just pure one-flavoured. But it was really nice and healthy! Shopped for some souvenirs at the same shop before heading back!
To commemorate our last night in Hualien, drinking session at Candia & Jaslyn's room! Though its just taiwan beer with super low alcohol percentage, spot how red Sharron & Candia face was?! The funny moments we had while playing Kings cup was memorable! End of our last night in Hualien!
#太湾derful Day 3 - 18th April 2016 (Monday)
Leaving Hualien to Taipei! Can't wait for the new adventures that await us!!
Before we leave the hotel & Hualien, last wefie shot in the beautiful hotel and nice hotel staff! Grabbed our breakfast at 7-11 to eat in the train! Reached taipei and went to find our hotel! As usual we're early for check in thus we just left our luggage and continued with our first day in Taipei! Went to a famous duck shop for lunch!
After filling our stomach, long journey to 淡水 for some sightseeing and shopping! It was a pretty long ride thus time for us to get some rest on the train! When we reached, it was raining quite heavily thus resorting Jaslyn, Candia and Sharron to buy a poncho! However, the moment they wear the rain became smaller and soon it stopped raining! Haha :P
Walked around the streets of 淡水 before getting our tickets to 渔人码头! Really thankful coz it was the last ferry timing slot and we have to travel back by bus. Sidetrack abit, me and Liwen was super underdressed coz we're just wearing a dress and it was super cold and chilly coz the wind was blowing! Nonetheless, it was a pretty nice place to see and take photos!
Ferry ride was pretty okay with good lighting and breeze! Reached our destination in around 10minutes ferry ride!
After exploring and taking enough wefie and selfie, took a bus back to explore the unfinished 淡水老街! Shopped and settled part of our dinner there!
Ordered their 肉丸，贡丸，啊給! Only their famous 啊給 attracted us coz its something different and was seriously super nice! Its like taupok stuffed with vermicelli! After dinner, we shopped around before heading back to Taipei to check in to our hotel before roaming the streets of Ximending!
Shopped around streets of Ximending! As it was quite late already so most of the shops were about to close so we'll save the rest of the shopping to another day! Hotel Sweet Hotel~~
#太湾derful Day 4 - 19th April 2016 (Tuesday)
Before I start the day, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY with my BOYFIE FATS!! Really sorry I couldn't be by your side on this special day of ours but no to worry coz I've compensated when I'm back in Singapore! :P
First stop : 黄金海 + waterfall
Second stop: streets of 九份
Third stop: 十分 - 瀑布
Saw the magnificent waterfall that amazed us so can't help taking more photos, wefies and selfies!
Fourth stop: 十分 - 放天灯
It was quite an interesting experience to 放天灯 and thanks to the experience photographer (staff there) who made us do the different poses before we release our sky lantern!
Fifth stop: 十分 - Railway tracks
Photo spam time at the railway tracks where there's real train going to and fro! It was really an eye-opening experience for us seeing the stalls clear their stuff and everyone clearing the tracks to let the train pass!
Travelled back to Taipei for second round shopping at Ximending! But first, filled our tummy with food and as we wanted to try hotpot for once when we're in Taiwan so that shall be it for dinner! Glad we found a hotpot buffet place which was around 20+SGD but the food there was of supreme quality especially their free flow Haagen-Dazs ice-cream section.
Then we cabbed over to Taipei 101 where we separated ways as Candia & Jaslyn went up before already. So Me, Liwen and Sharron got our tickets and queue to make our way up!
I personally feel its a waste of money to go up coz they only open 2 levels for you to explore and theres really nothing much to explore! But nonetheless, its an experience that once would want to try at least once when they go Taiwan so why not? But not gonna go up again the next time if i were to go back Taiwan again :P
Reunited with Candia and Jaslyn after exploring Taipei 101 for lunch! As we were still quite full from breakfast, we ordered 2 sets to share among 3 pax.
After that, decided to do some grocery shopping to buy back some stuff to Singapore. And since its our last night in Taiwan, drinking session is a MUST! Thus, stock up some beer and vodka and back to hotel :)
Last grad trip with my favourite bunch of cliquey and the longest I know among the others! Glad and thankful to have every each and one of them and for being so close and loving for the past 7 years!
Everything feels so surreal that our long awaited grad trip is actually happening for real and glad we managed to make it happen. Though there might be fights and misunderstanding along the trip etc, glad we overcame them and enjoyed ourselves to the maximum for this 10D9N trip! Looking forward to future trips with you guys!!

Thankfully our flight was Cathay Pacific which means there's flight meal and there's some standard that we can expect so we don't have to worry much for our long flight! But what I can say that it is pretty tiring especially midnight flight so sleep is very important! And guess what, I'm a pig and I evolve first in the number of hours I slept coz the moment I enter the plane I sleep till I leave it >.<
Reached and had a long wait coz the queue was super long and moving like a snail for customs clearance. Went to collect our luggage and journey to find our apartment at a station called Gongdeok! Train ride was quite long and me being a pig had my round 3 of sleep :P
Reached our apartment after a 5-10 minutes walk. Settled down and rest awhile before we head out to hit the streets of Myeong-Dong!
Initial plan was to have porridge for dinner and then street food after that but the store owner demanded us to get a bowl each when we only wanted to share! Ended up we leave the porridge place for Yoogane instead!
After dinner was some shopping session where guys and girls split for some individual shopping time! So girls were legit-ly shopping for cosmetics, etc whereas guys were shopping for ...... FOOD! So after we reunited, girls have our own round of food shopping where the guys tag along as they were too full to eat again!
Went back to our apartment as we have to rest early since we have a morning flight to Jeju tmr! But but but in order to have a better sleep, its highly recommended to drink before you sleep! Plus we wanted to try out Korea's soju and rice wine so there you go on the first night in Korea!!
#一7seoul牵seoul Day 2 - 26th April 2016 (Tuesday)
Kimbap was so good that I don't mind having it everyday for breakie!:P Trained to the airport with our shag faces!
We were too early to check-in thus we all just KO-ed at the airport into deep sleep as we have 1hour plus to spare and we have nothing much else to do!>.< After a good sleep, all woke up and chilled at the nearby coffee place after settling our check-in procedures.
Time to board the plane to Jeju! Yahoo~~
Flight @ 11.40am - 12.45pm
Was welcomed by our driver who was holding on to a paper with Junhao's name on it! For a moment we felt like we're some celeb :D Headed over to our van/mini bus and discussed briefly on our itenary and since we're all hungry, we decided to have lunch first before exploring the famous attractions in Jeju!
This meal was super delicious and worth it coz all the sides and the stir-fry pork/chicken is refillable and the big piece of fish there was so so yummy! Can't get sick of any of these served! One of the best meal thanks to the recommendation from our driver!
First stop: Yongduam Rock (Dragon Head Rock)
Second stop: Teddy Bear Museum
So we roamed around the teddy bear museum and snap numerous photos to make it worth the money spent to enter. Actually there's really nothing much inside, just seeing the numerous teddies in different costumes and themes etc.
Headed out for some photoshoot session :P
Third stop: Cheonjiyeon Falls
It started raining a little but that didn't stop us from finding the legendary waterfalls in Jeju! Actually not legendary lah #justsaying Beautiful scenery along the way to the falls
And we finally found it .....
I bet the guys must be too thirsty from the walk but so near yet so far :P Walked back and time for our dinner! KBBQ with BLACK PORKKK! Yahoo~~
We hired a good driver for our trip to Jeju who was so friendly from the start with the warm welcome and driving us around according to our itenary! Also, constantly initiating to take group photos for us which explained the numerous photos above! Lastly, caring about our well-being, providing us with umbrella when it's raining and suggesting places to have our meals when we're hungry!!! DAEBAK!
Was indeed a satisfying meal which heals our mind and soul from all the walking and exploring and ending a great night for our Jeju 2D1N trip :DD Headed to our Jeju apartment which was pretty nice and cosy as seen from snap video above! Weisheng keep saying the girls room is the princess room and the guys room is the servant room! Super funny!!
Decided to order fried chicken as well but was quite disappointing coz it wasn't that nice coz you'll get sick of it after eating a few since we only ordered the original flavour! >.<
Mini argument broke out between me and car but glad it did not last throughout if not I'm gonna cry! But actually I cried lah :P But as a crybaby, crying is a norm so nothing much but sorry to the rest who have to worry about us and glad all is good after that! I'm sorry dajia! So I segregated myself from the rest and slept alone! Junhao vomited all his beer out plus his nonsense mumbling. Our fried chicken was almost finishing but not finished, that's all for the night in Jeju!!
#一7seoul牵seoul Day 3 - 27th April 2016 (Wednesday)
It was a super cold morning, as cold as 14 degrees plus the strong wind blowing that we were all shivering and freezing! But that did not stop us from leaving the house partly coz we need to catch our flight back to SEOUL! Before we head to the airport, we went to GD's cafe only to find out its closed :((( *sobs*
Plan B since Plan A didn't work out! So we asked the driver for suggestion on where we can have our breakfast and he drove us to the restaurant and before we find out, we're gonna have abalone for breakfast! The jeju way :D Was indeed in shock but oh well just enjoy! At least we get to taste how fresh the seafood there were! Hahaha
I think the bill came out to be quite a lot but oh well just relax and enjoy our meal. At least its worth the money and satisfying! First try on marinated RAW crab which tastes pretty good but I can't eat too much coz it gets abit disgusting after that >.<
Made our way to the airport for our flight back to SEOUL!
Flight @ 11.25am - 12.30pm
Safely touched down at Seoul and headed back to our apartment! Got some donuts to fill our tummy before the girls left our apartment earlier for some shopping time at Myeong Dong! Decided to pamper ourselves with Starbucks the moment we reached Myeong Dong only to find it super overprice after I bought it! But oh well.. all is good! So shopping starts and first stop was Art Box which was our ultimate favourite and its super worth it!OMGGG:))
Next went around the many beauty and cosmetics shop to shop before meeting the guys for dinner! Authentic Korean food this time round^^
Was bloated after this meal! Food was acceptable at least we get to try some authentic Korean food like finally:P After dinner, continued shopping which Hang and Sheng decided to get their hair cut! So splitted ways again where some of us continued shopping while the rest accompanied the guys for their haircut!
After everything, head back to apartment and we decided to head down to the convenience store to get our supper after bathing! Fat life when you're at overseas but totally enjoying it!
#一7seoul牵seoul Day 4 - 28th April 2016 (Thursday)
Woke up early coz today we gonna explore the palace and try out hanbok (traditional Korea costume). Had breakfast at a nearby bakery shop near our apartment before we set off!
First Stop: Gyeongbokgung Palace
Toured around the palace and as usual photoshoot time! Good lighting results in good pictures! I shall let the pictures speak:)
Next was some epic lost bird moment coz we keep walking around in circles, walking to and fro to find Bukchon Hanok Village to get our hanbok! But endless walking, asking strangers and security, calling our friends for help but to no avail >.< Filled our tummies first at a pit-stop with dumplings and chopped noodles before we continued our mission to find the mysterious village
The dumpling was okay on the first bite but the more you eat the more sick you get partly coz its super huge like a giant ball and we ordered so much of it that we gave up. On the other hand, the chopped noodles were super delicious that we should've ordered more:P
Researched abit in the restaurant on how to get to Bukchon Hanok Village and finally landed ourselves into the correct place like finallyyyyyyy!
Second Stop: Bukchon Hanok Village
Rented our hanbok, choose our favourite colour combi, changed out, fixed our hair and off we go to explore with our new costume. Searching for the perfect backdrop was tiring, getting our group shot taken ourselves was worse but glad everything was good and the photos turn out to be nice nice super nice! I'm lovin it!

Changed out and made our way to Han River to explore the scenery there as well as night life there :)
Third Stop: Han River
The moment we reached we got surrounded by many ahjummas giving out flyers for various food stores! Sheng evolve as champion coz he receive the most :P
Next was to satisfy our fried chicken crave which we walk from one end to the other of the Han River >.< The walk was super torturous partly coz we weren't confident what's on the other side:P But thankfully there's fried chicken stall there and was the best among the rest! So goodddd!
EVERLAND DAYYYYY!! So we are heading to the famous theme park that Running Man went but the journey to the place itself was super horrible coz its super long and we have to keep changing trains! But all was worth it especially getting to ride the super rollercoaster (T-express) Bought kimbap for breakie at the train station for the long journey that await us
Went to find the girls after the ride and joined them to play the bumper cars before they left while me + the guys continued our rides as it was still early^^
We took 2 more rides or so before its time for us to leave the place! Queued to take the ride down and before we leave I thought I could see real pandas there but ended up its closer/they don't even have pandas there?? :((
After dinner, washed up and prepare to head out for nightlife:P I mean its an experience you don't want to miss especially when you're overseas though it might be dangerous but oh well worth the try:)
After brunch, made our way to Dongdaemun and Namdaemun to shop but there wasn't much to shop though so we were just basically walking around the streets looking and exploring!!
Damage done in just a few hours! Our loots were legit heavy and super alot but still not enough! Girls excuse to shop more! Combed the entire ehwa and chilled at a bingsu shop before we move on to our next shopping stop! Come to think of it, it was our first bingsu in Korea :D
Reunited with the guys who were having a break as well from shopping and they ordered a bingsu to share as well and soon after we left for our next shopping stop >.<
I think we spent like quite some time there maybe an hour or more before we left to meet the guys for dinner! Shabu shabu buffet with free flow beef ^^ The sides were super amazing as well with fried chicken, glass noodle etc.
#一7seoul牵seoul Day 8 - 2nd May 2016 (Monday)
Also spotted crazily big dead stingray and octopus on display! It actually looks pretty scary if zoomed in :P
Explored the whole wet market before we were brought to the restaurant by one of the store owner to have our meals. But before we do so, we have to buy our own seafood so we split ways where me, car, bei and hao stayed in the restaurant while qi, hang and sheng went to shop for the seafood for our brunch^^
The only picture I took for our expensive, live brunch! Maybe coz I'm busy eating and snapping so can take a look at the video where we all attempted eating the live octopus! So our scrumptious brunch include live octopus, live sea urchin, grilled abalone, grilled couch shell (or sth like that) and grilled eel! Not sure if I'm missing out anything :P
After our meal, we split way with the guys for round 2 shopping! This time at a new shopping location - Express Bus Terminal :D Good shopping therapy that got us all tired but with our hands all filled with loots!^^
Headed to Myeong Dong for some mini shopping before meeting the guys to attempt to head over to Namsan Tower. However, by the time we met up it was drizzling so plan aborted and we headed to dinner straight! Dinner for the night - KOREAN BBQ!!
After dinner, we decided to shop for some Korea goodies to bring back to Singapore! So headed our way to one of the biggest Lotte Mart at Seoul Station! Really bought quite a lot of loots that I got a trolley all by myself while the rest share in pairs! Oops >.<
We spent quite some time shopping, queuing to pay as well as packing our stuff in carton boxes! Feeling a little guilty that the guys have to help me carry my boxes as my hands were full from shopping loots but we helped one another:) It was raining when we left the mart which makes things more difficult and we got confused as to which train line to take and where to go so it was quite a torture carrying all the stuff and walking to and fro.

#一7seoul牵seoul Day 9 - 3rd May 2016 (Tuesday)
Today is the last full day in Korea and no fixed itenary to follow so its basically just OTOT day! Qi and Bei went to have some alone time to shop/explore/dye their hair while the rest of us decided to stick together! So we basically nua-ed the whole morning before finally deciding to head down to buy breakfast at the convenience store!
After breakfast, nua awhile more before we changed and head out to hit the streets of Myeong Dong again for some last minute shopping^^ It was drizzling quite abit when we head out so we decided to have some ginseng chicken soup for lunch to warm our tummies plus to try it in Korea!
Was not too bad and really have to warming effect but guess we over order again coz we couldn't finish it all! And yucks to ginseng coz Hang ask me to try it and I stupidly tried it that made me regret my decision almost instantly!
I realized the entire time we're out we keep eating coz after ginseng chicken, we went to buy some stuff before heading for dessert :P
All them visually appealing desserts which actually look and taste good! Nom nom:)) Anw, bought myself a new pair of superga in white as well! Good buy, Nice buy, Best Buy:))
After shopping awhile more, reunited with the rest to conquer Namsan Tower. The walk was super torturous and long and challenging coz it consists of upslope, flight of stairs, down slope and all sorts of nonsense! But the view and environment was pretty good lah
However, as we were walking up after quite some time, we realize it was a dead end! So near yet so far to Namsan Tower coz we can actually see it but we asked around and found out that it was actually either close or we can't walk up and have to take a cable car ride up! Oh myyyyy there goes our chance to go and explore the Namsan Tower. With much regrets we head down and back to Myeong Dong for dinner :(
Last dinner - Bibimbap!
Asked a guide on the streets of Myeong Dong for recommendation and he/she recommended this restaurant which was quite secluded, located in the corner but nonetheless we just head in and settled our dinner there! No regrets coz their bibimbap was really super yummy that I'm missing and craving for it now:( Come to think of it, last dinner in SEOUL!
After dinner, we visited the LINE cafe which was nearby! Finally...
Walk around the shop and took some photos before we left the place and head back to our apartment! Have to head back early to pack our luggage and squeeze all our stuff into our luggage and hand carry baggage! By the time, it was still raining and it was freezingggggg!
Epic moment happen on our way back to the apartment from the train station! As it was raining and the wind was super strong, while walking halfway suddenly the wind decided to double up its power and blew super strongly! Qi and sheng was lucky to escape this unlike the rest of us! Me and car was walking in front and we have difficulty walking and at a point of time, our caps just flew off and car's first reaction was to let go of her umbrella she was holding on to! Super funny I cannot! Then there was bei trying to put up a fight with her umbrella which decided to unfold coz of the wind >.< But at least we managed to get back home safe and sound! :P
Last night.... *sobs sobs*

#一7seoul牵seoul Day 10 - 4th May 2016 (Wednesday) LAST DAY!
I swear my luggage was super heavy plus my handcarry that I almost died! Lucky we're not taking the train to the airport but instead the airport limousine which was like a coach with super comfy seats that you'll fall asleep after awhile! HAHA!
Reached the aiport and did the necessary procedures! We were all afraid of our luggage exceeding the weight limit and I evolve as champion for the heaviest luggage and Sheng/Bei with the lightest luggage!
Had a quick meal before taking our first flight at the foodcourt! Waited for awhile before we can finally board the plane!

HK - SIN @ 2.30pm to 6.20am (Cathay)
So happy to be able to watch Kungfu Panda on the plane when otw back to Singapore:P Flight meal was pretty delicious as well! At least for the first time I'm not sleeping on the plane thought I'm quite tired that I almost doze off lah! And yay to finally being able to sit tt with sisters on our return flight! Yahoooo!
Touched down Singapore smoothly and safely! I think I abit not used to it coz for the past 2 flights, by the time I reach Singapore the sky is dark already! Haha nonetheless, this marks the end of our 10D9N Seoul trip:((
As usual the necessary procedures before we went to collect our luggages and bought liquor at the duty free shop! Shared cab back home with Car and HOME SWEET HOME like literally:P

This marks the end of my grad trip for the end of my 3 years in Poly to Bangkok, Taiwan and Korea! I guess the next trip will be quite some time later so I really treasure the chance and opportunity to be able to explore the different parts of the world! Till next time ~~

My virgin trip to BKK and with this group of friends which I'm not say close with initially except for some but glad this trip brought us closer. Just to introduce they are Ben's group of close friends plus his brother and girlfriend :)) Really nice people to hang out with and glad for all the memories created ^^
So I've collated my snaps and segregated the events for each trip based on the days! Hope its see-able! Not that pro to collate and make it into a vlog so I guess this will do.. At least I can look back and see the main highlights for each day in the future!
BKK Day One - 15th March 2016 (Tuesday)

Yay to window seat and sitting with Ben and Nicole! Guessed we reached pretty early so split into 2 groups and cab to our hotel which was at Pratunam! Settled check-in procedure but we were too early thus left our luggage there and headed over to Platinum Mall which was walking distance from our hotel for some eating and shopping! Ended first day with a massage nearby our hotel as well ^^
BKK Day Two - 16th March 2016 (Wednesday)
Day 2's itenary was fishing! So the girls (me & Nicole) followed the guys to fishing! Booked a van and woke up super early so that our day will not be wasted! Basically slept throughout the ride to fishing spot as it was quite a distance away!
Breakfast and Lunch was settled at the fishing place itself! Breakfast and lunch was pretty satisfying! Nom Nom! Went back after fishing and washed up before we head out for dinner! Forget the place we had dinner already but it was some famous restaurant and authentic thai food! Dessert was red ruby and mango sticky rice! My favourite!!

BKK Day Three - 17th March 2016 (Thursday)
Started the day with round 2 of shopping at platinum mall after brunching at the famous wanton noodle shop! Plan was to head over to Asiatique but since we're still early so we went to have a full body massage before heading back to hotel to bathe and change and off we go! Tuk tuk to the nearest train station to head to the terminal to get a ferry over to Asiatique.

BKK Day Four - 18th March 2016 (Friday)
Sleep in till noon before we headed to have a simple brunch at McDonalds! Trying their pork burger and it was pretty good! Shopped around MBK Mall and rested at a dessert shop before heading back to the hotel with our loots.

BKK Day Five - 19th March 2016 (Saturday)
Started our day with famous chicken rice where we ordered 1 whole chicken to share! Then headed over to the chatuchak weekend market for some shopping and of course trying the famous coconut icecream! But actually there's not much thing that interest me there plus the heat was quite unbearable so we left the market around noon and separate ways. The guys went to some fishing shop to stock up on their lures whereas Me, Ben, Dom and Nicole went to some mall (forget the name:P) for shopping! Had A&W for lunch and it was my first time trying as well!
After shopping for awhile headed back to our hotel as we plan to get our caricuture done! Boyfie suprise me with roses! Awwww thanks and love it so much! :))
So headed over to the streets along platinum mall to get our caricuture done before heading over Kao San for dinner and some drinking session for the last night! All went a little bit too high especially boyfie! So cute when he high! Do all the weird actions that make me wanna laugh:P

Breakfast was western meal at Platinum Mall. Shopped for the last time before heading back to hotel to pack our stuff and check out before we get ready to go to the airport for our flight! Booked a van to fit all our luggages and human to the airport!

Bought some snacks at the night market and one of this was this cheese, egg wrap thingy which was pretty nice! Sorry i forget what it is called >.< Dinner at the famous shop and it was super cheap! We ordered quite a number of stuff and calculated how much the dinner was for per pax. Guess what?!!! I think its around 1.50SGD/pax! Cheap, filling and nice^^ Ended our day early as we have to wake up early for the next day!

It was raining quite a bit for the first few locations we were brought too! And throwback awhile, thankfully we met a nice taxi uncle the previous night that offered to be our driver for the day thus helping us save a few bucks from transport :))

Highlight of the day was conquering the torturing flight of stairs accompanied with the drizzle with my best 'hiking' partner! Literally died while climbing up the steep stairs that we kept on telling ourselves that we're reaching the top but actually we are not! Sharron, Candia and Jaslyn decided to give the hike a miss and head to the nearby temple first! So its just 2 of us fighting this war and happy to say we made it! To reward ourselves, we spam a number of photos but sorry for the live mode on my camera some photos didn't turn out to be nice >.<

After filling our stomach, long journey to 淡水 for some sightseeing and shopping! It was a pretty long ride thus time for us to get some rest on the train! When we reached, it was raining quite heavily thus resorting Jaslyn, Candia and Sharron to buy a poncho! However, the moment they wear the rain became smaller and soon it stopped raining! Haha :P

Travelled back to Taipei for second round shopping at Ximending! But first, filled our tummy with food and as we wanted to try hotpot for once when we're in Taiwan so that shall be it for dinner! Glad we found a hotpot buffet place which was around 20+SGD but the food there was of supreme quality especially their free flow Haagen-Dazs ice-cream section.

I personally feel its a waste of money to go up coz they only open 2 levels for you to explore and theres really nothing much to explore! After breakfasts was an adventurous journey in search of Candia's Amo cake that she wanted to bring back to Singapore. So we flagged a taxi and hopped on to search the address that we actually googled. Little did we know that the place we're finding is actually underground! Ended up the taxi driver got so pissed coz he thought it was the location he had in mind but it wasn't and he have to drive further up which he should actually charge us more -.- I forget who but we all started flaring at him and he was super unhappy that he dropped us at some strange place and told us the place we're finding is down the alley! So blur us really went into the alley and panicked coz all round were just houses and no such shops selling cakes??!!
Luckily we bumped into a super nice guy who was driving Merz and offered to drive us to the place we're actually finding after he's done settling his stuff! Oh my super nice siaaaa! So thankfully nothing big happen to us on the last day and we're all safe:P

Last grad trip with my favourite bunch of cliquey and the longest I know among the others! Glad and thankful to have every each and one of them and for being so close and loving for the past 7 years!

Thankfully our flight was Cathay Pacific which means there's flight meal and there's some standard that we can expect so we don't have to worry much for our long flight! But what I can say that it is pretty tiring especially midnight flight so sleep is very important! And guess what, I'm a pig and I evolve first in the number of hours I slept coz the moment I enter the plane I sleep till I leave it >.<

Reached and had a long wait coz the queue was super long and moving like a snail for customs clearance. Went to collect our luggage and journey to find our apartment at a station called Gongdeok! Train ride was quite long and me being a pig had my round 3 of sleep :P
Reached our apartment after a 5-10 minutes walk. Settled down and rest awhile before we head out to hit the streets of Myeong-Dong!
Initial plan was to have porridge for dinner and then street food after that but the store owner demanded us to get a bowl each when we only wanted to share! Ended up we leave the porridge place for Yoogane instead!

For a moment we felt like we're some celeb :D Headed over to our van/mini bus and discussed briefly on our itenary and since we're all hungry, we decided to have lunch first before exploring the famous attractions in Jeju!

This meal was super delicious and worth it coz all the sides and the stir-fry pork/chicken is refillable and the big piece of fish there was so so yummy! Can't get sick of any of these served! One of the best meal thanks to the recommendation from our driver!

We hired a good driver for our trip to Jeju who was so friendly from the start with the warm welcome and driving us around according to our itenary! Also, constantly initiating to take group photos for us which explained the numerous photos above! Was indeed a satisfying meal which heals our mind and soul from all the walking and exploring and ending a great night for our Jeju 2D1N trip :DD Headed to our Jeju apartment which was pretty nice and cosy as seen from snap video above! Weisheng keep saying the girls room is the princess room and the guys room is the servant room! Super funny!!
Decided to order fried chicken as well but was quite disappointing coz it wasn't that nice coz you'll get sick of it after eating a few since we only ordered the original flavour! >.<

Mini argument broke out between me and car but glad it did not last throughout if not I'm gonna cry! But actually I cried lah :P But as a crybaby, crying is a norm so nothing much but sorry to the rest who have to worry about us and glad all is good after that! I'm sorry dajia! So I segregated myself from the rest and slept alone! Junhao vomited all his beer out plus his nonsense mumbling. Our fried chicken was almost finishing but not finished, that's all for the night in Jeju!!

It was a super cold morning, as cold as 14 degrees plus the strong wind blowing that we were all shivering and freezing! But that did not stop us from leaving the house partly coz we need to catch our flight back to SEOUL! Before we head to the airport, we went to GD's cafe only to find out its closed :((( *sobs*

Plan B since Plan A didn't work out! So we asked the driver for suggestion on where we can have our breakfast and he drove us to the restaurant and before we find out, we're gonna have abalone for breakfast! The jeju way :D Was indeed in shock but oh well just enjoy! At least we get to taste how fresh the seafood there were! Hahaha

I think the bill came out to be quite a lot but oh well just relax and enjoy our meal. At least its worth the money and satisfying! First try on marinated RAW crab which tastes pretty good but I can't eat too much coz it gets abit disgusting after that >.<

Safely touched down at Seoul and headed back to our apartment! Got some donuts to fill our tummy before the girls left our apartment earlier for some shopping time at Myeong Dong! Decided to pamper ourselves with Starbucks the moment we reached Myeong Dong only to find it super overprice after I bought it! But oh well.. all is good! So shopping starts and first stop was Art Box which was our ultimate favourite and its super worth it!OMGGG:))
Next went around the many beauty and cosmetics shop to shop before meeting the guys for dinner! Authentic Korean food this time round^^

Was bloated after this meal! Food was acceptable at least we get to try some authentic Korean food like finally:P After dinner, continued shopping which Hang and Sheng decided to get their hair cut! So splitted ways again where some of us continued shopping while the rest accompanied the guys for their haircut!

After everything, head back to apartment and we decided to head down to the convenience store to get our supper after bathing! Fat life when you're at overseas but totally enjoying it!

Woke up early coz today we gonna explore the palace and try out hanbok (traditional Korea costume). Had breakfast at a nearby bakery shop near our apartment before we set off!

Next was some epic lost bird moment coz we keep walking around in circles, walking to and fro to find Bukchon Hanok Village to get our hanbok! But endless walking, asking strangers and security, calling our friends for help but to no avail >.< Filled our tummies first at a pit-stop with dumplings and chopped noodles before we continued our mission to find the mysterious village

The dumpling was okay on the first bite but the more you eat the more sick you get partly coz its super huge like a giant ball and we ordered so much of it that we gave up. On the other hand, the chopped noodles were super delicious that we should've ordered more:P
Researched abit in the restaurant on how to get to Bukchon Hanok Village and finally landed ourselves into the correct place like finallyyyyyyy!
Second Stop: Bukchon Hanok Village
Rented our hanbok, choose our favourite colour combi, changed out, fixed our hair and off we go to explore with our new costume. Searching for the perfect backdrop was tiring, getting our group shot taken ourselves was worse but glad everything was good and the photos turn out to be nice nice super nice! I'm lovin it!

Next was to satisfy our fried chicken crave which we walk from one end to the other of the Han River >.< The walk was super torturous partly coz we weren't confident what's on the other side:P But thankfully there's fried chicken stall there and was the best among the rest! So goodddd!

The boss was quite a cutie coz he was learning how to read off the menu in Chinese so I taught him a bit while I went to order:P The chicken was really good that we ordered an additional portion and finished it in no time :)

EVERLAND DAYYYYY!! So we are heading to the famous theme park that Running Man went but the journey to the place itself was super horrible coz its super long and we have to keep changing trains! But all was worth it especially getting to ride the super rollercoaster (T-express) Bought kimbap for breakie at the train station for the long journey that await us

We decided to eat first before we start exploring the theme park and sit on the rides! Fast food coz we don't know what to eat but all is good and can't wait to start!

So the guys decided to try Vikings for their first activity and so sorry got pangseh by us girls! For me I really can't take Vikings! >.< I just don't like the feeling that I would rather take all the horrible and scary roller coasters or rides other than Vikings :P Car decided to play this where she have to burst the balloon and she eventually won herself a prize. I think if I were to play sure can't win one >.<

So we somewhat separated ways where the guys had their rides and girls had ours! Took the first mini roller coaster ride with Qi and then this xiong xiong ride with all them sisters! No kick:P Can't wait for my T-express adventure ride!
Departed ways with the girls to join the guys for the T-express ride! The girls didn't wanted to take it coz it does look pretty scary but glad I tried it coz its super satisfying though I have to admit it is is scaryyyyy!!

After brunch, made our way to Dongdaemun and Namdaemun to shop but there wasn't much to shop though so we were just basically walking around the streets looking and exploring!!

It was really a first time experience and also culture shock the moment we stepped into the changing room coz basically its super open where you just see naked women walking around without wearing anything! Conservative us still went to the toilet to change out :P But still its a good experience after all :)
We all happily changed out, paid accordingly and took a train back to our apartment to do some grocery shopping and cook our own dinner before car realized that she left her camera at the Jjimjibang place! Omg I swear we literally sprinted all the way back but had to change train before we reach the station! We somewhat panic-ed but luckily able to call the place and ask them to check before they rent the locker out! The moment we reach the station we really all out sprint back till I almost died I swear! Serious epic moment and car sprained her leg at the doorstep of the place! Suay or what! But thankfully she got her camera back which was good! ^^

Damage done in just a few hours! Our loots were legit heavy and super alot but still not enough! Girls excuse to shop more! Combed the entire ehwa and chilled at a bingsu shop before we move on to our next shopping stop! Come to think of it, it was our first bingsu in Korea :D

I think we spent like quite some time there maybe an hour or more before we left to meet the guys for dinner! Shabu shabu buffet with free flow beef ^^ The sides were super amazing as well with fried chicken, glass noodle etc.

After dinner, was sing K time also known as Noraebang! Spend quite some time locating the place and abit of a disappointment coz the songs there were limited and were super old so only a few songs that we knew! But the entire environment plus the room is spacious, nice and clean:)

Started our day early exploring Korea's fish market - Noryangjin Fish Market! Abundance of fresh and live seafood and humongous seafood that we see in real life for the first time! :O

Explored the whole wet market before we were brought to the restaurant by one of the store owner to have our meals. But before we do so, we have to buy our own seafood so we split ways where me, car, bei and hao stayed in the restaurant while qi, hang and sheng went to shop for the seafood for our brunch^^

The only picture I took for our expensive, live brunch! Maybe coz I'm busy eating and snapping so can take a look at the video where we all attempted eating the live octopus! So our scrumptious brunch include live octopus, live sea urchin, grilled abalone, grilled couch shell (or sth like that) and grilled eel! Not sure if I'm missing out anything :P
After our meal, we split way with the guys for round 2 shopping! This time at a new shopping location - Express Bus Terminal :D Good shopping therapy that got us all tired but with our hands all filled with loots!^^
Headed to Myeong Dong for some mini shopping before meeting the guys to attempt to head over to Namsan Tower. However, by the time we met up it was drizzling so plan aborted and we headed to dinner straight! Dinner for the night - KOREAN BBQ!!

After dinner, we decided to shop for some Korea goodies to bring back to Singapore! So headed our way to one of the biggest Lotte Mart at Seoul Station! Really bought quite a lot of loots that I got a trolley all by myself while the rest share in pairs! Oops >.<
We spent quite some time shopping, queuing to pay as well as packing our stuff in carton boxes! Feeling a little guilty that the guys have to help me carry my boxes as my hands were full from shopping loots but we helped one another:) It was raining when we left the mart which makes things more difficult and we got confused as to which train line to take and where to go so it was quite a torture carrying all the stuff and walking to and fro.

#一7seoul牵seoul Day 9 - 3rd May 2016 (Tuesday)
Today is the last full day in Korea and no fixed itenary to follow so its basically just OTOT day! Qi and Bei went to have some alone time to shop/explore/dye their hair while the rest of us decided to stick together! So we basically nua-ed the whole morning before finally deciding to head down to buy breakfast at the convenience store!
After breakfast, nua awhile more before we changed and head out to hit the streets of Myeong Dong again for some last minute shopping^^ It was drizzling quite abit when we head out so we decided to have some ginseng chicken soup for lunch to warm our tummies plus to try it in Korea!

Was not too bad and really have to warming effect but guess we over order again coz we couldn't finish it all! And yucks to ginseng coz Hang ask me to try it and I stupidly tried it that made me regret my decision almost instantly!
I realized the entire time we're out we keep eating coz after ginseng chicken, we went to buy some stuff before heading for dessert :P

After shopping awhile more, reunited with the rest to conquer Namsan Tower. The walk was super torturous and long and challenging coz it consists of upslope, flight of stairs, down slope and all sorts of nonsense! But the view and environment was pretty good lah

However, as we were walking up after quite some time, we realize it was a dead end! So near yet so far to Namsan Tower coz we can actually see it but we asked around and found out that it was actually either close or we can't walk up and have to take a cable car ride up! Oh myyyyy there goes our chance to go and explore the Namsan Tower. With much regrets we head down and back to Myeong Dong for dinner :(

Asked a guide on the streets of Myeong Dong for recommendation and he/she recommended this restaurant which was quite secluded, located in the corner but nonetheless we just head in and settled our dinner there! No regrets coz their bibimbap was really super yummy that I'm missing and craving for it now:( Come to think of it, last dinner in SEOUL!

Walk around the shop and took some photos before we left the place and head back to our apartment! Have to head back early to pack our luggage and squeeze all our stuff into our luggage and hand carry baggage! By the time, it was still raining and it was freezingggggg!
Epic moment happen on our way back to the apartment from the train station! As it was raining and the wind was super strong, while walking halfway suddenly the wind decided to double up its power and blew super strongly! Qi and sheng was lucky to escape this unlike the rest of us! Me and car was walking in front and we have difficulty walking and at a point of time, our caps just flew off and car's first reaction was to let go of her umbrella she was holding on to! Super funny I cannot! Then there was bei trying to put up a fight with her umbrella which decided to unfold coz of the wind >.< But at least we managed to get back home safe and sound! :P

#一7seoul牵seoul Day 10 - 4th May 2016 (Wednesday) LAST DAY!
Basically the whole day spend on different modes of transport from SEOUL back to SINGAPORE! Woke up pretty early, changed and prepare before we arranged the room back to its original state before bidding farewell to it:P
I swear my luggage was super heavy plus my handcarry that I almost died! Lucky we're not taking the train to the airport but instead the airport limousine which was like a coach with super comfy seats that you'll fall asleep after awhile! HAHA!
Reached the aiport and did the necessary procedures! We were all afraid of our luggage exceeding the weight limit and I evolve as champion for the heaviest luggage and Sheng/Bei with the lightest luggage!

At least for the first time I'm not sleeping on the plane thought I'm quite tired that I almost doze off lah! And yay to finally being able to sit tt with sisters on our return flight! Yahoooo!

This marks the end of my grad trip for the end of my 3 years in Poly to Bangkok, Taiwan and Korea! I guess the next trip will be quite some time later so I really treasure the chance and opportunity to be able to explore the different parts of the world! Till next time ~~
