CS event: 1000 elderly lunch

Rise and shine, woke up at 7am and prepared to meet CS at 9.15am at Bishan MRT! Breakie with le mummy and daddy before they go to celebrate great grandma's birthday! So sad and sorry I can't go! All the good food and my cutie pies, miss them alot!:X

Solo train ride to bishan to change from green to circle line. Journey was quite smooth and time passed very fast with me keeping myself entertained! Listening to music and sleeping comfortably! Love solo rides unless there's someone I'm comfortable with to talk to throughout!:P

Was rather late coz a few of them were late! Supposed to reach the place at 9.45am but we only reached at 10+ am!>.< Joined in the briefing and there were quite a lot of volunteers and people there! What can you expect when you are serving 1000 elderly!

Volunteer pass

Was assigned to be volunteer for the yellow sectors and was led by a few of the year 3 seniors of CS! Not too bad had lots of fun though we only have minimal interaction

Slowly one by one the buses arrived and we helped them to their seats before the performance and food were served. Standby a table with MingFu coz 2 person to one table

Awkward at first but slowly interacted with them! They are a bunch of super cute elderly I must confess! Helping them and serving them with food is my pleasure and I enjoyed doing it.. Especially seeing them laugh while they eat! The only uncle in the table was sweet as well, always smiling to me with his big big smile;) This just made my day lah^^ 

Excused myself for lunch so a quick bite before heading back again! Started raining super heavily so when the elderly were going to the washroom we have to be extra careful with them.. 

As the lunch ended, slowly one group by one group boarded their bus! All the volunteers were super lethargic by then including CS including myself! But still, waited for the elderly to leave and help them as much as we could! The smile on their faces and the countless thank you and gratitude they expressed just makes everything we do worthwhile.. Not forgetting saying and waving goodbye to us!

Elderly are seriously a bunch of cute and cool people to be with. Sharing life stories and interacting comfortably with them.. Treasure whatever you have now and spend more time with your grandparents coz when you talk to them they feel more loved and encouraged! JIAYOU elderly, till we meet again;) 

A fruitful and meaningful event though it was hardwork till the very end! Nonetheless, spent ample time with the elderly and feel a little but more loved! 

Tired us but still, picture spam

Cheryl had some serious talk with us before we headed to the nearest mrt station! Reached Ang mo Kio mrt and left with Jamie first while the rest went to had lunch and Cheryl went to her geandparents house! Train ride back was indeed tiring especially when there's no seats..

Anw dragged my feet to Jp to develop my pictures and bought some stuff! As usual, my Favourite sharetea but they only have the small cup! Ahyoyo not enough for me>.< 

Homed, dinner and typed out the letter for korkor! 622 words and I'm impressed with myself! After that started designing the boards I bought to paste around my room but it wasn't big enough.. Oh well just a few Polaroids and pictures then:) 

Chatted with le bro and had a really great laugh! Seriously.. Hehe that's all going to crash now! Goodnight!
